Profile

Comfortable in the space between an alert, a system, and the person waiting for an answer.

I like work where evidence matters. A bad check, a quiet service, a firewall change, a DNS record, a queue that stopped moving, or a dashboard that suddenly looks wrong all need the same habits: verify the signal, map the dependency, reduce the blast radius, and leave notes someone else can trust.

Outside of work, I run a Proxmox-based homelab with Linux containers, VMs, reverse proxying, DNS, VPN, monitoring dashboards, self-hosted AI tools, media services, and web applications. It gives me a real environment to practice system hardening, automation, observability, and recovery with real operational tradeoffs instead of toy examples.
